Once Taikoo Dockyard, Taikoo Shing was developed into a private residential estate by Swire properties. Taikoo Shing was completed in stages, with constructions of all main residential buildings complete by the early 1990s. On another day where the company van wasn't available, when the distance between apartments was further, she sprung for a cab and didn't ask me to pay for it.
