About Clear Water Bay

Clear Water Bay is a residential district named after the country road connecting the arear two main beaches with the city.  Clear Water Bay is famous for it's lush green hillsides which provide endless hiking trails and beautiful white sandy beaches.

The district is made up of several communities such as Ng Fai Tin, Silver Strand, Ha Yeung, Sheung Sze Wan, Lobster Bay, just to name a few.  There are notable landmarks (Shaw Studios, Maclehose Trail) and developments in the area such as Mount Pavilia and The Portofino.

Nearby Sai Kung is also a great option for outdoor dining, shopping and a general great day out.  You can get a water taxi from Sai Kung Pier to the neighbouring Outer Islands for wonderful day trips.

Tseung Kwan O Hospital is located close by for any medical emergencies.

The outlook for the area is extremely positive since the Hong Kong Government has introduced a new initiative to transform Kowloon East into a new Central Business District 2.  This will include investing heavily into infrastructure and community facilities.

Several International Schools have also recently moved their Campuses to the Clear Water Bay area due to added demand.  These include the French International School in Tsueng Kwan O, HK Academy in Sai Kung and Nord Anglia in Nam Tin.  ESF schools already have 2 campuses in Clear Water Bay.
