Hong Kong International Furniture Fair will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo from 28-31 October 2008 for trade buyers and will also be opened to the public on the last day of the event. The premier furniture fair offers a complete sourcing solution for high quality, design-focused products and brand name furniture from all over the world. Last year, the fair hosted 172 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions; over 8,100 trade visitors from 112 countries and regions came to source a broad range of upmarket furniture.

IGLOO - stands for Inspirational, Glamorous, Lively, Original, Outstanding, is the premium section of the fair in which international exhibitors display their contemporary designs, distinguished by exquisite style and superior craftsmanship. In the last two events, this section featured companies from Hong Kong, Austria, France, Japan, Thailand, the UK and the US, and was appreciated by buyers looking for cutting-edge innovative and stylish furniture.

The fair also features the Classic Furniture Zone, in which you can find antique and reproduction items in classic styles from both the East and the West.

Another special highlight is the Office Furniture, which reflects the revolution in the market for stylish and functional office items.
IFHK Pavilion: The International Furniture & Decoration (Hong Kong) Association (IFHK) is a supporting organisation in 2007, it has moved up to co-organiser of the fair this year.

IFHK Pavilion makes a welcome return after excellent buyer response to its debut last year. This year the pavilion will occupy a larger area and IFHK members will be offering more stylish products.
