The Jockey Club Sarah Roe School is part of the English Schools Foundation, and established to provide for up to 60 children and young people aged between 5 and 19 years who have severe learning difficulties. The school aims to provide a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum for its students.
The staff is comprised of experienced teachers who are qualified in special educational needs and a team of therapists who specialise in speech therapy, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
The school has a range of excellent facilities, which are unique to Hong Kong. These include a hydrotherapy pool, specially designed changing and toileting areas, a light and sound room and medical, soft play and therapy rooms. The school has three buses, each equipped with a hydraulic lift and a telephone.
