Beacon Hill School is an establishment of the English Schools Foundation and was set up in 1966. The curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum but with adaptations to suit the needs of students living in Hong Kong. The curriculum includes core subjects such as mathematics, English, science and side subject such as art, drama and music. Putonghua is also made a compulsory subject for students in Year 1.
Beacon Hill's ethos is to provide a safe, secure and caring environment where children, irrespective of their abilities, are valued as individuals. The school caters for 540 students from 5 to 11 years of age, and provides a learning support class for children with special needs.
